“ Fantastic Local Experience! The food here is excellent, and the couple who runs the place is incredibly friendly. The seafood was very fresh, and the chili had just the right amount of kick. Our local guide confirmed that this is authentic Batak cuisine. We also highly recommend their fresh juices — especially the tamarillo juice, which was a standout! The place is clean and has a convenient wash basin for customers. As a fun bonus, the owner has a great karaoke setup and even sang a song for us! Overall, a great spot to enjoy local food, warm hospitality, and a taste of the local culture. Highly recommended! ”
“ Lovely staff and good vibes in this restaurant. The grilled fish was delish! Local deep-fried little lobsters/crayfish would be better steamed, boiled, or grilled whole with a dipping sauce instead of split down the back and deep-fried. (Ended up a bit too dried out) Nice, it could have been heaps better though. Would be great if they were whole and juicy! ”
“ The fried fish is delicious, fresh, and not overcooked. It comes with 2 kind of dipping sauces. The milk tea itself has vintage sensation, just like traditional milk tea I had when I was a child. The staffs and chef are friendly. The restaurant's ambiance is comfortable enough. Like all restaurants around Tuk Tuk, the parking lot is very limited. One more thing, you would better to reserve table during peak season. The pricelist is reasonable. ”
“ I’ve come here 3 times in total during my short stay in Samosir!! So appreciative I got to eat Leo’s cooking. The arsik was so delicious (it’s quite spicy!) The Naniura tasted fresh, like island sashimi in delicious (also spicy) sauce. The napinadar was a home comfort chicken curry dish. Aldi recommend their tamarillo + dragonfruit juice! Would recommend—in fact I brought other travelers here! ”
“ really liked the bbq fish with chips, also the green chili. bbq chicken is good too. unfortunately during our visit there’s some indians at another table playing indian songs which were rather unsuited to the vibe here. ”
